Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd is jointly owned by the two regional co-operatives, and operates on behalf of both to centrally represent the following main activities:

  • -   Procurement and development of Private Label products
  • -   Commercial activities relating to the Proprietary Branded Suppliers particularly Supplier Trading Terms, Supplier Price Adjustments and selected non-trade product procurement.

Commercial Activities

The other commercial activities within Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd, leverages the collective business and offers a single point of representation.  The main activities currently include the negotiation of Supplier Trading Terms, co-ordination of Supplier List Price Adjustments and strategic procurement for products outside the areas already mentioned.
