Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd

Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd is jointly owned by the three regional co-operatives, and operates on behalf of all three to centrally represent the following main activities:

  1. Procurement and marketing of private label products
  2. Management and co-ordination of the national general merchandise Programme
  3. Commercial activities relating to the Proprietary Branded Suppliers particularly Supplier Trading Terms, Supplier Price Adjustments and strategic procurement.

Private Label Products

The supply arrangements for the procurement of private label products are managed nationally with most of the lines periodically tendered. If you are interested in becoming a private label supplier, enquiries should be directed to enquiries@foodstuffsbrands.co.nz

National General Merchandise Program

With the general merchandise program, Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd plays a management, procurement and co-ordination role encompassing both private label products and proprietary branded goods. You can register your interest on enquiries@foodstuffsbrands.co.nz.

Commercial Activities

The other commercial activities within Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd, leverages the collective business and offers a single point of representation. The main activities currently include the negotiation of Supplier Trading Terms, co-ordination of Supplier Price Adjustments and strategic procurement for products outside the areas already mentioned.
