Supplying Foodstuffs
We welcome the opportunity to discuss trading arrangements with
potential new suppliers. Each of the three regional co-operatives
does, however, operate by different guidelines for approving a new
supplier, and in their trading terms. To make it easier for you,
we've outlined a few common guidelines to assist you.
If you are interested in joining the Foodstuffs
family of suppliers, a good start is to speak with the appropriate
category manager or buyer in which region you wish to supply. Contact the relevant
co-operative to find out who you need to talk to.
If you are looking to export to New Zealand and do
not have a local office or agent, we recommend that you first
submit details of your product offering and your company's
credentials by way of general introduction. We will then advise
whether we are interested in taking matters further. Please note
that imported goods must meet all pre-requisites for supply i.e.
they must comply with all the relevant New Zealand regulations and
trade requirements.
Contained in this website are all the details you will need to
able to effectively trade with us. We encourage you to take the
time to look through all the material and please contact us if you have
any questions.
