Please find a number of updates regarding the FSNI Merchandise Business Unit.

RECRUITMENT UPDATE

Foodstuffs North Island is committed to building a world-class Merchandise Business Unit and confirming the Leadership appointments late last year was a key step in that direction. The next step in the process was to confirm a structure for the wider team and to confirm people into these positions. As a result of this process, I am pleased to advise we can now announce the appointments below.

There are a few appointments yet to be made within the team and we have now commenced the process of external recruitment for these positions.

To ensure business continuity through the restructure the following individuals will be fulfilling acting positions for a period of time: Graham Murray, Kay Shaw, Peter Jackson, Eleanor Greening, Shane Dickson, Kelly-Ann Tyson, Anya Del Rosario, Grant Crawford, Bevan Morland, Carlie Gilmour, Taryn Penfold, Wayne Edlin, Ann Warwick, Brian Casserly and Brad Hope.

Rick Metcalfe has accepted a special projects role in Bakery now reporting directly to Doug Cochrane, General Manager Retail.

A number of people from the Upper and Lower North Island Support offices made the decision to pursue opportunities outside of Foodstuffs and over recent weeks we have said farewell to a number of people within the team; Glenn Collins, Karen Wines, Monica Coulson, Suzanne Evans, Garry Ravenwood, Shirley Te Waita, Deborah Harrison, Noelle Richmond, Nicole Rankin, Jessica Crooks, Hiran Lala, Cheryl Francis, Jackie Lenihan, Jane Glover, Robyn Pouw, Caroline Robinson, Kiri Woolston, and Domani Goonewardene. We would like to take this opportunity to thank these people for their contribution to our business and wish them all the very best for their future endeavours. We are also saying farewell to:

Paul Edgerley - Category Manager (Auckland based)
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Paul for his contribution to Foodstuffs over his 13 year tenure. He has made a significant difference to the Chilled and Frozen Category for our business and we wish him all the best with his future endeavours. Paul's last day is 31 March 2014.

Andrew Keaney - Produce Manager (Auckland based)
Andrew has accepted a role with our supplier partner Turners and Growers. He started with Foodstuffs in 2011 and has contributed significantly to our business during his tenure. We would like to thank Andrew for his service and commitment to our Produce business and wish him all the very best for the future. Andrew's last day with Foodstuffs is 24 April 2014.

LEADERSHIP TEAM UPDATES

Jason King - Merchandise Manager Chilled, Frozen, Deli and Bakery
Jason has been seconded onto Project Harmony and Project Real with immediate effect for the next few months. As a result of this Angela Deehan will be caretaking the role of Merchandise Manager Chilled, Frozen, Deli and Bakery whilst Jason fulfils the secondment.

Clive Webber - Business Optimisation Manager
Clive will be leaving Foodstuffs at the end of April 2014 to pursue his aspiration of becoming an Owner Operator. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Clive for his valuable contribution to our business over the years. We wish Clive all the very best on the next step of his Foodstuffs career. We will send an update once a replacement has been appointed.
